About Me
About Me
“My yoga journey began in my early 20s when I did a yoga teaching course.”
Lyn says that like so many, family life and corporate life took over as her dreams and aspirations were put on hold. However, her personal practice continued, alternative exercise means were tried, but she always returned to yoga. It was as though she were being pulled in that direction. Later in her life she listened to her heart and realised the value of the full yoga experience. Although she’d always enjoyed the mind body connection element of yoga, gradually she embraced the fuller full spiritual aspects of yoga practice.
Lyn says:
“Yoga connects the mind, body and the heart. Whilst yoga is not a religious practice it is a spiritual practice and you, the individual decide how much you want it to be so.”
Since experiencing complications during her diagnosis for cancer, Lyn also suffered a traumatic experience during treatment and ongoing post operative complications. These all served to strengthen her yoga practice and now having undertaken additional courses and drawing on other teaching experiences, Lyn has devised some carefully designed courses for those recovering from operations, trauma and cancer that are suitable for anyone who doesn’t think they have the right body to learn and practice yoga.
