Discounts for Emergency Staff

Are you a 999 family member in the Eastbourne area?

All Emergency Services staff and volunteers

I am a recently returned to the area yoga teacher who used to be part of the 999 family in East Sussex.

I am also a cancer survivor who retrained as a yoga teacher after complications in my treatment.  The mind-body-heart aspect of yoga together with gentle stretches really helped me and I am determined to help others with my carefully paced and thought out yoga classes.

I teach one to one (female only) and two to one from my workspace in central Eastbourne or larger groups at your work base.  If you have a few of you on the same shift pattern who want to partake, I’ll even work with your shift patterns if I can, to ensure that you have regular practice.

I offer a good discount for 999 employees that can be further increased if I come to your base within the local area (so I don’t have to rent hall space).

Regular yoga practice can:

  • Build strength
  • Support back issues
  • Decrease injuries
  • Help to decompress
  • Reduce stress
  • Reduce anxiety
  • Improve your mindset
  • Increase mindfulness
  • Gives valuable “me time”
  • Improve body shape

We live in a fast-paced society, something that is particularly so for those in front line positions. As a society, we work more, relax less and shift patterns can play havoc with the equilibrium.  My yoga classes are designed to help you relax and reset whilst also working your body.  It’s a win-win, give yourself an hour once a week to work on the mind-body-heart connection or for two hours every few weeks for a therapeutic, restorative yin session.  Of course you can do both.

If you’re interested, please get in touch and I’ll do my best to accommodate you or a group of you.

Or, maybe you are a 999 family member enjoying or planning a holiday in Eastbourne, please get in touch to book in.

The reason I’ve selected an RNLI picture?  Well my offer’s not just open to the employees of ambulance, fire and police services.  Of course it includes Coastguard, RNLI, first responders whether employed or volunteers.
