Lyn’s Stretch & Flex Classes
Lyn has many years of fitness experience and undertakes a lot of additional course for CPD (career personal development).
Through years of practice, attending classes, collaborating with other teachers, talking to physiotherapists, kinesiologists and more Lyn has devised a fitness class designed to flex, stretch and strengthen even the most reluctant of bodies!
A gentle class structure that builds with your fitness and grows with you as an individual.
Influenced by Pilates and yoga this is a carefully orchestrated slow and gentle flow class with rests factored in.
You may not know that resting the body in certain positions after stretching or as part of the stretch enables more of the physical body’s mechanics to kick in and increases the value of your exercise. This is the foundation of an ancient practice of slow yoga with holds called yin yoga. So, elements of yin practice are included in the sessions.
These hybrid classes do not include meditation or any other elements of yoga other than the movement.
Although the classes are designed to be gentle with a slow pace including seated options, they are incredibly effective at aiding your body’s movement, building strength and learning how to relax.
Breathe helps to power and structure the movement.
New Class
The new class is an initial 10 part programme that can then be built on further for subsequent sessions. Every week you will be given optional homework of gentle stretches to practice at home, and I actively encourage everyone to take a few minutes to stretch every day.

Class numbers are kept small to ensure individual attention and to help you grow as a group.
Week one can be used as a taster, a chance to get to know each other before you commit.
10 weekly sessions paid in advance are just £85.00. If you choose the taster option week 1 is just £10.00, then to continue an additional £75.00 becomes payable within 2 days.
Anyone with difficulty in paying for the full course should contact me for discrete personal attention to help you find a way to attend the course.

- Your flexibility (both mental and physical)

The practice can also help you with:
- Easing chronic pain
- Improving stiffness
- Give you more energy
- Pelvic floor strength
This group class can also build a sense of community, friendship and self-worth. Even if you don’t need any of those we learn from each other and a light, fun atmosphere is encouraged.
